Florida is famously flat, which makes Leonida's mountain national park one of GTA 6's best jokes, and a welcome change of scenery.
What we know about Mount Kalaga
Mount Kalaga National Park is a region Rockstar has named, covering the wilder northern part of the state. Expect dense forest, trails, rivers and campgrounds.
It looks set to be the place for hunting, fishing, dirt bikes and trucks, much like Mount Chiliad and Blaine County in GTA 5.
The real inspiration
Real Florida has no mountains. Its highest natural point, Britton Hill in the Panhandle, is only about 345 feet above sea level, the lowest high point of any US state.
North Florida is still full of wild country, though, including large national forests such as Ocala and Apalachicola, with springs, rivers, pine woods and hunting land.
Things to do
- Hunting and fishing in the backcountry.
- Off-road driving on dirt trails.
- Camping, lookouts and river crossings.
- Remote cabins that could hide side stories.

Is there a mountain in Florida?
No. Florida's highest point is Britton Hill at about 345 feet. Mount Kalaga is Rockstar's invention, and likely a joke on that fact.
Can you hunt in GTA 6?
Rockstar hasn't confirmed full details yet. GTA 5 had hunting in its countryside and Red Dead Redemption 2 built on it, so Mount Kalaga's wilderness is a natural fit.
